FAQ

How does sunlight create electricity?
Photons (light energy) collide with the surface of a semiconductor and create some free electrons.  These electrons create a potential difference in the semiconductor and due to doping of the materials, they create a current flow to a collector grid.  Groups of cells are connected together to create usable levels of direct currrent (DC) energy.

How Big should a system be?
The usual goal is to install a system that could offset as much of the homes power as you have room and the budget for.
